Photoshop CC 18: Crashes using NIK Filters
I open NIK through my Photoshop CC 2018 and everything works fine until I click on OK to return to Photoshop. The image shows that it is processing and attempting to save the file and size it back on my layers stack...and then the whole thing crashes and closes out Photoshop. I'm left with the file not saved and I have to restart Photoshop again - without the NIK layer saved.
***I have learned that I can actually get Photoshop to successfully use the NIK filters by File>Automate>Nik Collection Selective Tool. That works but its a pain in the butt. Is there a fix planned to be able to use the dropdown Filter menu again?

Today, when you load this collection, you only get the possibility to install these pug-in into LR app.

So you are best to create a new layer and you would have to rename it to NIK yourself to keep your process organised.

I can successfully get NIK filters to run under a Smart Object (initially), but any return visits to these filters for further edits, or simply to disable them to see an effect, crashes Photoshop. I also have crashes of Photoshop when attempting to use the crop tool if there are any NIK filters in a Smart Object. Running CC2018 v19.0.1 on mac High Sierra.
