Photoshop: Canvas size expands by wrong percentage

I often expand canvases a bit -- 120% or so. In Canvas resize dialog box I'll first change to percent, then change the number, deleting the first zero and changing to a 2, thus "120." But then the horizontal width changes to 1200%. I thought I was mistyping earlier but no, it's a bug for me. It doesn't happen if I select the "100" and replace the whole thing with "120."

Howdy Stephen,

Can you tell me more about your setup?  What OS are you running on?  Which version of Photoshop?  What kind of input devices (keyboard, mouse, tablet, etc) are you using?

I've tried both Win and Mac, but cannot reproduce what you're describing.

MacOS 10.13.3 beta 3 (wait, how did that happen? I'll update. But pretty sure this has been going on for several weeks), 15" MacBook Pro 2016 Touch Bar w/16 GB RAM. Apple Bluetooth keyboard & mouse. Photoshop CC 19.1.1.

No, in fact, I updated yesterday and now it's not happening. (I still wish it would remember whether I'd last used "percent" or "pixels" and keep that setting, but that's another matter.)

I've seen it twice again now. :( Same problem.

One thing that may be involved. I use Karabiner to remap keyboard so I get a forward delete button on my Mac. I remap it to the right-hand option key. I've used that to change the numbers in the canvas resize box. It shows the correct size in the dialog box, though. E.g. today it showed "120" but resized to 1200%. This is what it looks like afterward.

Howdy Stephen,

I'd be willing to bet money that if you quit using Karabiner, this problem will disappear.  I'm guessing that somehow the right-hand OPT key is mapped, but possibly there's a bug in that process and so the display updates but the value passed to the application is not.  An good test would be turn 100% to 1500% and then forward delete the 1.  Do you get 500% or 1500% effect?  What's displayed?
