Photoshop: Can't paste text in Save for Web dialog box on macOS 10.15 Catalina

Command+V does not work in the save as dialog box filename field. I do batch conversions with a filename in the clipboard and the keyboard shortcut for paste does not work with Catalina macOS. I can right click the mouse and choose paste or use the menu bar, but keyboard shortcuts have no effect.

Hi Eric, I'm not able to reproduce this issue with Photoshop 20.0.6. What version of Photoshop are you using? Do you have any clipboard utilities installed?

I did more testing and can reproduce this every time.

However...I realized that I didn't mention that I'm saving all my JPGs using the Save for Web dialog. The regular Save As dialog works fine (which I rarely use). In other words, I can paste text from the clipboard in the regular Save As dialog box -- in the filename field -- using the keyboard shortcut, but NOT in the Save for Web > Save dialog box. I only use this because I rely on the Optimize for File Size option to ensure all JPGs are at a client-specified file size.

Also, the menu bar Edit > Paste does not work. Only right clicking the mouse and choosing Paste will function in the Save for Web dialog.

I'm on 20.0.6 as well. It just started happening after I upgraded to Catalina yesterday. Nothing else has changed. I don't have any clipboard utilities. I'm on a MacBook Pro 15" 2018 w/ Radeon Pro Vega 20, 32GB of RAM.

Anyway, it's not a huge deal but more of a pain to work around until this gets resolved.

New guy here, but I can confirm this is happening for me too, on Catalina. Exact same circumstances and Photoshop version.
