Photoshop: Cannot open PSD file b/c of error message "cannot complete your request because of a program error"

I cannot open my PSD file. The error states "cannot complete your request because of a program error." The file still has data in it (it is 2 mb) and i can view it with preview, just not open it in photoshop. Please help! The file is here:

There are many sites on google. Just type something like 'psd file repair'. This is one of them:

I tried your file in CC 2018 and in fact it doesn't work, but in CS6 it asks me either I want to keep styles (what fails) or flatten document to jpg, then I can open it.

I tried to go to the link, but the folder 'logo' was empty....

May I ask how psd file was created?  From a scan, or artwork or digital picture file?

It does not open for me because I am on a Mac and the app that is looked for is not optimized for the mac...good luck

It doesn't open on Windows with 2017 or 2015 either.  How was this file created?

Hold down the Shift & Option keys and drag the file onto Photoshop to open the composite data.

In Windows it's Shift & Ctrl & Alt while 'double left mouse button click' on a file after browsing inside Photoshop. To open browser, you can LMB DC somewhere in range of free workspace.

Hi Ruthie:
I opened it with my flintstone version of photoshop (5.5)  Opened fine with and without RGB conversion.  Has all the layers, i assume.
I could send it to you with a different name.
