Photoshop: Brush tool draws an inch behind cursor even though it never catches up or draws the initial dot offset
Okay I need some help I use Photoshop CC 2018 for my AP art class and have spent HOURs trying to find a solution for this by digging through forums, I use a Intuos Wacom Tablet to draw thats hooked up wirelessly (not that this matters much because I'm having the same problem with my trackpad) when I draw a line or stroke with the brush in Photoshop it shows the line a good inch off of where my cursor is. At first I thought it was a lag problem but it never catches up to my cursor, I dont think its an offset problem (though it closely resembles one so maybe theres a common solution) because when the initial dot is made it makes it in the right spot. Im really stuck here and have a COncentration piece due soon and could really use some help any advice could help! Thank You.

If none of those work, uninstall your wacom(or tablet) driver and re-install it.
Also, this could be caused by a very high resolution image. What is the size of your image in pixels? If you are using a huge brush 1000px roughly, it will lag behind sometimes. Let us know if you solved the problem or are still having issues.
