Photoshop: Ability to save a selection of layers
I suggest that you implement the following feature:
When I work in Photoshop, I normally choose several layers from the "Layers" palette. And it would help a lot if I could *save my choice*.
It may be really annoying to have to make my layers choice anew.
I would also love to have a possibility to make and save several choices.
By implementing this feature, you will make Photoshop so much more comfortable to work with!

I suspect there might be some issues, though, because changing the order, names, group structure and deleting layers might cause problems, especially across sessions.

Yet another palette? ("read my lips: no new palettes")
Convert layer selections into layer comps?
Have an action recording of layer selections (snapshot and restore, no visibility into the contents)?

It looks as if Chris has hinted that a new palette is a no go :)
