Photoshop: Ability to eyedropper entire screen

I would really like the eyedropper in Photoshop to work like the one in maya, where you can eyedrop the entire screen. Even toolbars and from differend windows that are open.

This is already possible. With the eyedropper, click in the document window and keep the mouse down and drag outside the document window to sample colors from the anywhere on the screen.

It has always been possible. Just hold down the mouse button when moving the Pipette Tool from Photoshop to screen.
