This issue should be fixed in the current version, Photoshop 2020 v21.x or later. Let us know if you're still having trouble.

control panel --> clock and region --> click region --> additional settings...

--> change decimal symbel ( / )  to ( . ) --> and change - digit grouping symbel ( , ) to ( . )

--> save all change --> close photoshop and open again --> thats all --> problem fix :)

the cause of this problem is the change in the middle east region of windows makes
 symbol of dot and backslash should be changed
so for solving this problem:

control panel --> clock and region --> click region --> additional settings...

--> change decimal symbel ( / )  to ( . ) --> and change - digit grouping symbel ( , ) to ( . )

--> save all change --> close photoshop and open again --> thats all --> problem fix :)

Thanks for reporting. It's a localization issue. Engineering is investigating.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled A value between .. and .. required. Closest value inserted.

Hello everyone

There is a new problem in CC 20 versions of Photoshop (I use CC 20.0.5.27259) and it's a value between...

I saw there is a solution from editing Registry of Windows but it doesn't fix this problem and this problem isn't related to RAM, but i found the reason of this problem (I can't find solution).

Well, This problem occurs if you set the regional format of Windows to Persian(Iran) [Maybe because if you set regional format of Windows to Persian, numbers format changes from English numbers to Persian numbers]

For now, I can use Photoshop if i set regional format to English but there is many users who are using Persian format (Because the Persian calendar is only available if you set format to Persian), So Adobe should find a solution for this problem or it should fix it in new updates.
[Also i don't see this problem in old versions like CS6]

I'll be thankful if Adobe answer to my request and fix this problem.
