Photoshop 22.3.1 says Unknown GPU
While Photoshop 22.3.0 awkwardly takes a bit of an extra step to properly load Advanced GPU settings, version 22.3.1 entirely broke GPU support for me. After updating today, Photoshop failed to load my NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti graphics card, saying "Unknown GPU" with "Use Graphics Processor" dimmed and unchecked. I tried restarting both Photoshop and my laptop but no luck. I already had the latest NVIDIA driver 461.92 installed prior to updating Photoshop. Rolling back to 22.3.0 returned everything back to what it was like before installing the latest PS update. I understand that my GPU is already a few years old, so I considered the possibility that Adobe might have all of a sudden dropped support for it, but that would be a really terrible change to make in a minor version update if that's really the case here. I hope it's only a bug that would be fixed in a new update.
Here's what it looked like in 22.3.1
