Photoshop 22.0.1 - repeatedly crashes on Window 10 / loss of hand functionality

I upgraded to 22.0.1 and had these problems.  I then uninstalled  / reinstalled.  Same trouble.

This happened two times.  Finally I reverted back to the earlier version and all is well again.  There are some bugs with the 22.0.1 update.  Not only is it grief when it crashes, but it doesn't have a memory of the project.  Total loss each time.
