Photoshop 22.0.1: Eye dropper sampling ring missing
In V22.0.1 the eyedropper sampling ring is missing. Toggling the checkbox in teh options bar does nothing.
Resetting preferences does not resolve.
Windows 10 v20H2 and NVidia RTX2080ti driver 456.71
The tool works correctly in v21 and earlier on the same system

same problem any idea when our little fella will be back...really It is hard for to illustrate right now in photoshop. ...I am using CSP instead...but I don't have my photoshop brushes there?

Same issue here - I also do not see a preview of the sampled area when using the stamp tool.

Hi
This question regards the sample ring. If the ‘show sampling ring’ box is checked, but is not displayed on the canvas, what changes need to be made in order to toggle the sample ring on.

Another update, another broken mess.
This time you broke thee Popup color wheel (Settings -> General -> HUD Color Picker)
- When using the brush, you can hold ALT to change the brush size/opacityю
- Holding SHIFT+ALT pops up a color wheel.
ALT shortcut still works for brush control, ALT+SHIFT no longer works

These shortcuts are a godsend for someone who uses the software professionally and is always looking to improve their workflow and speed. Taking this feature out (and retaining the settings for it) is a giant blow to usability.

With MAC the color sampler wheel does not show up no matter what I do. So hopefully Adobe gets it fixed fast, it is a good tool to have and I seem to use it, and like having it a lot...

Oh ugh. From reading posts in this thread, I take it that the color sampler wheel pop-up wheel is not working for many people (I use an iMac 2020). I rely on this shortcut HEAVILY in my workflow, and hope that it is reinstated soon.

When using a painting tool, I use the display the HUD (Heads-Up-Display) color picker shortcut on the Mac, (hold Control+Option+Command then click right-click). It's heavily integrated into my process as a digital painter. Please reconsider bringing this shortcut back to the newest versions of Photoshop.

And it also sucks when you delete a layer and it deletes the layer mask instead and then I have to press delete again to delete the layer.
