Hi Sue,

I'm not able to reproduce this problem. It's possible it is a document specific issue. Could you post the PSD you're having trouble with? (Dropbox/CC Files)

Also, I'm not seeing any submitted crash reports from you in our system.

If you haven't done so already, please submit all Crash Reports along with your email address: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/submit-crash-reports.html

Hi Jeffrey

You’re right - document specific issue – I tried the rotate transform control on other documents without any problems.

Also found a work-around was to move the group slightly first, then I could rotate it without Photoshop crashing. However, the problem has now ceased completely.

I have now enabled crash reports 😊

Many thanks for your help.

Thanks. Let me know if you get in the state again. Would love to get a copy of the file so I can reproduce the issue.

It's behaving perfectly now! - but I'll be sure to send you the file if it does it again.

I just installed Big Sur and PS 22.1 on my mac. Photoshop crashes every time I try to do anything with a file. I have submitted reports. I currently can not use PS and can't seem to find any help with this. I uninstalled PS and reinstalled, I ran disk utility, I have done all I know to do. Help?

Kyle did you submit using the Adobe crash reporter or the Apple OS one? I'm not seeing any with your email address.

If you haven't done so already, please submit all Crash Reports along with your email address so we can search the system for them: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/submit-crash-reports.html

Yes, I submitted several times.

Every time it asked, I submitted. The fact that it's not showing up is concerning. :(

I have since posting this, uninstalled 22.1 and installed an older version so I can work.

I had the same problem with macOS Big Sur 11.1. It would crash without any actions just after a few seconds.

I downgraded to 12.0.1 and it then worked without crashing, then upgraded back to 12.1.0 and it now works fine. So maybe updating to macOS Big Sur 11.1 changes some preference files permissions and upgrading replaces these again?
