Photoshop 21.2.0: Problem when displaying layers

Changes are not displayed or are displayed incorrectly when masking or transparency of the top layer.

If I duplicate a layer, for example, and change the opacity on the top, or I apply a mask, or move it, then when the layer is turned on and off, the image contents are not displayed correctly.
For proper display, you have to turn off the visibility of all layers and turn it back on from the bottom in turn.
This makes it impossible to work.

Windows 10 x64 Pro.
Disabling GPU usage does not help.

Hello,
This sounds similar to another reported issue.
Could you please go to Preferences > Performance and uncheck "Legacy Compositing".
Thank you.

Thanks, disable fixed the error.
However, the earlier inclusion of this option corrected the error of incorrect color overlay in the color blend mode.

We've fixed a number of issues that required Legacy Compositing. Are you still seeing an issue with incorrect color overlay in the color blend mode with Legacy Compositing off?

Since the need arose to enable the option for color correction, I have not tried to disable it.
Thanks for corrections.

OK. Let me know if you have any issues with Legacy Compositing off.
