Photoshop 21.1.1, Mac: Path Tool Issues

Photoshop 21.1.1; iMac Pro '17; Catalina 10.15.3 - Version 21.1.1 has fixed the Copy/Paste problem on the Paths palette with paths/points. Keyboard shortcuts for combining paths and active selections (Command, Option, Shift) are working and not activating that undesired 'zoom to layer' feature(bug). Remaining major problem for illustration and retouching professionals is the inability of the Paths tool to sense an existing path or point and activate the Plus-Point or Minus-Point tool. Since those tools have no keyboard shortcut, it requires a trip to the toolbar to switch to adding points. This makes cutting paths into a huge chore, easily doubling the time to do pro retouching!! Since product development photo retouching is mostly cutting/combining paths, this version is still unusable for Pros...This needs to be fixed ASAP!

It's working fine for me and is the same workflow we've had for decades now... When you're using the pen tool on a non-active path, use the ctrl/cmd key to temporarily switch to the Path or Direct Select tool, then select a part of the path to activate and you'll get the add/subtract path when hovering. It's always worked this way.

This is not only a Photoshop 21.1.1 issue: It's a Mac Catalina Photoshop issue! There is also a breakdown in the color palette system - there are several parts of the color system that cannot sample from the Adobe color palette.
