Photoshop 2020: Delete pattern is grayed out
I have installed 64 patterns and cannot remove them. When I click restore default patterns, it adds the same default patterns. I now have 64 of my patterns and 4 sets of the default ones. How can I fix this?

I should add, it IS possible your preferences are farkled. If deleting isn't working, have you tried deleting your Preferences and starting over? (be sure to save any presets that haven't been saved to disk first)

Alas, I was NOT able to delete the duplicate copies of the default patterns that had been created when I tried "restore defaults." In the contextual menu, Delete Pattern was greyed out for these.
