Photoshop 2018 full of bugs...
Downloaded PS 2018 and was instantly struck with bugs. Shortcut keys only seem to work about a third of the time. This affects everything across the board including zooming, saving, undoing, etc. The shortcut key for 'fill foreground' requires users to double tap the delete key in order for it to work.
Things have slowed down as well. The healing brush performs at about half the speed of PS 2017.
Adobe should be offering a way for users to downgrade back to 2017 based on everything I've experienced so far. Note that I work professionally with PS, often spending 8hrs or more a day retouching and compositing. These glitches and slow-downs add up to significant amounts of time and annoyances. I'm curious to know how these bugs made it through Adobe's beta program.
Until these glitches / bugs are resolved I strongly recommend holding off on updating to Photoshop 2018.

I've had a script running in CC 2017 mac that would save down png's I knew in cc 2017 there was the option to save PNG compressed so I have been using the script with no issue.
set myLocalPNGOptions to {class:PNG save options, compression:5, interlaced:false}
When this has been running in 2018 my script times out suggesting saves are timing out meaning longer than 120 seconds to save.
109.8mb PSD is flattened (less a background) then saved as png. under these conditions. The time it takes to save is 123sec and compresses it to 13.7mb
If I change the setting to its default 0.
Its take 109 seconds to compress to 16.3mb this is is still much longer than it ever was on CC2017.
Testing it as normal no applescript and it reveals the problem is still there.
Medium file size setting take 107sec to a lightning drive in APFS and 150 seconds to a firewire drive in mac journaled format.

when I import an image to a document, this happens every. single.time. I can't use the 2018 version of the program at all. The glitches are enormous. How the he** did this make it through beta testing? I want my money back.

I saved this same file as a .png to try getting around this issue by sizing it onto an entirely new canvas, and while the thumbnail looks correct, every time I open it it's . . . well, this (the first image is what it's supposed to be, the rest are consecutive attempts to open the .png file):
