Photoshop 19.1 slowing down?
I am seeing that some scripts I use might be slower (significantly slower) under PS 19.1 than they were under 19.0. Even though I am not maxing out RAM or processor capacity, I get the "Rainbow Spinning Pizza Wheel of Death" cursor for seconds, or even minutes, and Photoshop stops responding. PS eventually recovers, and the save is completed, but I don't remember seeing this before.
The scripts mostly save a file (which keeps me from using "Save in the Background".)
I haven't tested this extensively, and Apple has recently made lots of updates in response to Spectre/Meltdown, so I can't really be sure what is going on.
So I ask this to see if anyone else has noticed a problem like this. If I have time, and energy, I'll investigate.
I'm on Macintosh, obviously.
