Optimize file for print?
I've created a graphic for a children's book for my grands that I'm trying to get printed in a photobook format, I've created it in Illustrator, and saved as an .eps to move to Photoshop to resave as a jpg. However, the file size for printing can only be 100MB, resolution below 50Mpix, and long edge below 20,000pixels. The printing system requirements are - 'We accept images in JPEG / JPG or PNG and sRGB/RGB color profile.' I tried converting the .eps by layer to a SmartObject, then rasterized it, but that didn't really work right, either. Is there a way I can convert the file more efficiently and effectively, saving the sharpness of the images but keeping them small enough to be accepted by the printer?
