How to manually turn off GPU in Photoshop CC

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to manually turn off the GPU acceleration in Photoshop CC? I know in Lightroom you are supposed to be able to edit the .plist file, but I can't find a setting in the Photoshop .plist file. Photoshop locks up my Mac with a frozen spinning cursor if Nvidia GTX680 is running before I can get to Preferences. If I boot with shift key down and disable graphic driver, Photoshop runs, but GPU setting are greyed out, so I can't change before rebooting.

Scott,
Edit -> Preferences -> Performance will get you here.
