HOLY MOTHER OF XXXX! What have you done to our beloved Photoshop CC? Tools are beyond usable.

Photoshop CC has become unusable. Even the most basic tools—including the eraser—no longer work.... including with all the recent updates.

Hello Stanley,

I don't want to clutter the forum with the same message twice, but I wrote a few comments to Andy Gonzalez on his post: "photoshop devaluing over time".  They aren't helpful, but they might help you feel a little less upset. ...  Or not.

Sorry! Clip Studio Paint. I just got on board and love the software. Loads of tutorials and help as well. It is not expensive either. It has been a struggle to master most of its features but I am getting there. I am 71.9 years old, so you can do it too.

Hi Stanley,

Sorry for the frustration. The eraser is working great for me (I use it every day), as well as the other tools, which means we need to figure out why things aren't working for you. I just searched twitter for other reports like yours. I'm not seeing a flood of people saying the eraser isn't working, so my first thought is maybe your preferences got corrupted? If you haven't already, will you please try resetting them? On Mac it's Photoshop > Preferences > Reset Preferences on Quit

After that if you're still having trouble, I'd love to get more info from you (OS, system info, etc.) to help troubleshoot.

Thanks,
Hannah
