Dragging curved paths glitch in Photoshop CS6
I've found a disturbing behavior in PhotoShop CS6 and the use of the Path/Pen tool. After creating the path, the best way to edit a curved path is to click and drag on the path itself. In former versions when the curved is dragged, the direction lines at either side of the segment remain "locked" in their original angles. This behavior is gone in Photoshop CS6, rendering the ability to edit by dragging the curve segment useless. I was horrified that Adobe might have made the change universally, but thankfully the behavior works properly in Illustrator and InDesign.

WHERE exactly is this option?
I am drawing with the path/pen tool, and looking up in the Control Bar and do not see the option you referenced. Also checking the fly-out menu of the Path Panel—no luck. I see no other option. No mention in Preferences either, so far as I can tell.
Help.
