Character spacing is messed up

Hello,
I used photoshop yesterday and suddenly all the text has spaces between the letters. I can set VA to -500 to kinda fix it, but it doesn't connect cursive letters. Please let me know if anyone has a solution, thanks!

It is pretty difficult to reset Justification preferences in Paragraph without being aware of it.<G> Is it every font you try? I think David (the type guy) said he was going on vacation, but someone else probably knows what might have happened. Would you add the OS and version of PS you're using so they can point you in the right direction?

The only thing I can think of trying right off the bat would be Reset Character from the flyout menu. That's supposed to reset everything back to their defaults. If that doesn't do anything, the problem is buried even deeper.

Hi, it is every font
I am using 10.13.4 OS X and PS 20161130r29x64 2017.0.1 release.

Reset character unfortunately doesn't work. Thanks!

Hello, I would try the reset tool in the option bar: hover the T in the option bar, and Right-click...
IF that does not work, make sure that you saved all your actions, etc. and go to the preferences (CTRL(PC)/CMD(Mac)+K, and click the reset preferences on quit button...
