Bug - Refreshing a placed object in Photoshop breaks proportion

Hi.

I have a Photoshop document with various icons. This icons was made in Illustrator in a single document, each icon in a artboard.

So, to have my Photoshop file always update I placed these icons. I used the Media Box option to maintain the artboard area. Fine, it worked almost perfectly...

Now the problem: When I edit my Illustrator file, it updates in the PS as it would, but the icons are stretched... it's like the placed icon discarded the crop selection I made in the place options. So, to resolve this I have to select each placed icon, command+T to transform, and ENTER. It forces the icon to reset to the original proportions.

You can check it by yourself with my files: Adobe Creative Cloud

So there is a solution to this?

My system:
macOS Sierra (10.12.2)
Photoshop CC 2017.0.1

I ran into the very same issue before. Working with the Smart (vector) Objects as well. Didn't find the solution at the time.
