Bridge: Tools > Photoshop > Image Processor... disappeared
I installed PS 2017 and Bridge 2017. Image Processor (and the whole Photoshop tab in Tools) did not appear in Bridge. Reinstalled PS 2017. No luck. Reinstalled Bridge 2017. Image Processor came back. BUT THE NEXT DAY when I turned on computer, the Photoshop tab in Tools had again disappeared. I followed the video instructions and manually removed the preference files. No luck. I uninstalled and reinstalled Bridge. No luck. Did the same with Photoshop. No luck. Very frustrating.
After that I uninstalled, then reinstalled both and said "no don't keep my apps" (or whatever it say). No luck. More time wasted.

I believe those folders are only for extensions/3rd party scripts you may have installed. I have installed one, and it is showing up in every Bridge folder. I don't understand why you don't get the Photoshop tools if both Bridge and Photoshop are enabled to "communicate with other apps" in the Startup Scripts list in Preferences.
If you uninstall/reinstall Bridge 2017, open, then quit, next uninstall/reinstall Photoshop and open it and quit (to make sure it has registered), and then launch Bridge, does Bridge not ask if you want to enable new scripts? It used to be a problem many versions back, pre-CC, I believe, that Photoshop didn't get registered for Bridge to know the app was actually there. I haven't heard of that since way back then, but perhaps the problem is buried there and you've hit on it.
Or someone from Adobe can figure this out. . . sorry to hear it's not just working smoothly for you.

Seems to me Adobe does not care. They out out source Helps to India and elsewhere and those people do not have a clue. Seriously, they don't. They are Screen Readers at best.
I have had 5 of the Elements Versions of Photoshop and through 6 different computers they have had the Disappear-Reappear on the Tools that whole time. Even with the 2 massively fast computers I have now (Desktop & Laptop) that are PC versions with 8 core processors and one having 16 Gigs of RAM and the other 32 they still have this issue, okay!
Adobe knows this and I have been complaining about this for years and still the won't fix it!!!
I just think they don't care and just want your money or are so large they are dysfunctional anymore?
Adobe Screen Readers in other countries have given me all kinds of things to do, but none were right.
That is all I can tell you.

My work around is to put the files I want to process into a separate folder, then use File - Scripts - Image Processor in Photoshop. It's annoying because now I have to remember to set the file path each time, and also set up a new folder and transfer files. I guess if I keep paying for the service, there's not much reason for them to fix it, but I now suggest that people think twice before they get into Photoshop.

I'm happy for you. I find Adobe one of the brighter spots in my day, so I'm sure I'd be tearing my hair out over this. I'm finding on Google this is a fairly common problem (shouldn't be), but you've done everything anyone has suggested to get it back, and yet it's not sticking.<sigh> Jeffrey is back. Hopefully he'll get to this if we keep it active at the top of the list and he'll know what next steps to take.

I am so glad someone figured it out, for most it seems just say stuff without even thinking, it seems?
It is as Simple as using your "Cap" Key (Upper Case Key) and it reappears. Why couldn't someone else figure that out??!
Even those who work at Adobe had not a clue of what I was talking about.
Hope this helps others.

Probably because none of us knew what you were talking about? The thread is about the missing command from the Tools > Photoshop menu in Bridge. What you're talking about is perhaps the issue with either a) not realizing that turning the Caps Lock key ON will turn brush cursors into "precise" crosshair cursors, and the crosshair can be difficult to find against an image, or b) the intermittent issue most of us have experienced where our brush disappears while using it. I don't recall if I've had that happen with other tools, but it might have. The disappearing brush cursor appears to have been fixed in Photoshop, although it wouldn't surprise me if it returns at some point. The most common solution has been to move the cursor outside of Photoshop proper and it reappears when we move the cursor back into the document window. Since you're talking about PSE, I don't know if that works, or if toggling the Caps Lock key is a better solution, or if we're still not talking about the same thing.
