Adjustment layers for masks

Hi!

It would be nice to have adjustment-layers just working on the masks, so for example i could use a adjustment-curve (together with a mask) on the mask of another layer or group, that would help for example feathering masks just partial and on the other hand hardening the shape of the mask. Or an other option would be to have kind of a smart layer as a mask.

Thanks in advance,
Phil

Not sure this is what you mean. If you click, "Select," a mask than open curves from the menu, it will effect the mask. been doing it for years.

Sure, this is what i do as well, but i would like to have an extra curve with an extra mask, so that i can just use it partly on the real mask I'm working on ;)

Yes, masks should definitely be considered SO's, especially now that Select and Mask is a thing.
