A Mixer Brush/Brush which Colour Picks at the beginning of a stroke

Due to many problems I have when using the mixer brush as part of an action (working with animation) I have this - probably too niche- suggestion.

As anything which saves time and effort is often welcome, I would like to suggest a 'mixer brush' or 'brush' which will sample the colour it is exposed to (when pressure is applied) at the beginning of a stroke. This colour will remain until a brush stroke is finished.

For example when using a tablet, once the pen is pressed down a colour is sampled and ready to paint with, until the pen is lifted, at which point a new colour will be sampled when beginning the next stroke.

Essentially this would be like using the 'eye dropper' and then immediately switching to the brush tool in one simple motion.

This would enable me, for example, to create sketches on a new layer (above) without needing to switch between the 'eye dropper' and 'mixer brush' tool, or having to constantly toggle 'sample all layers' on/off.

isn't that what the mixer brush actually does?

The mixer brush will continue to 'sample' or be influenced during a stroke.
Essentially I am proposing an additional modification which would only let the brush sample at the very beginning of a stroke when pressure is applied,  the tray/sampled colour would be cleaned at the end of the stroke and the brush would behave as if the load was unlimited.

then why not just a normal brush? I think what you're asking for might be waaaay too niche.
