A brush option for natural-feeling shading

Brush opacity mode would need an option to apply the mode every time an individual "brush picture" is drawn, instead of the mode being applied after the entire stroke. As it is, If you make shading with pressure-controlled opacity, you will have undesirable patterns which come from many strokes intersecting. If you use color dynamics in "darken"-mode, the brush will still draw light areas then you ease the pressure, as the mode is applied for the entire stroke and the darken-option does not apply inside the stroke. The "per picture"-approach would allow the shading to be done in a predictable and comfortable way.

Are you familiar with Flow as opposed to Opacity?

Edit: Sorry, I guess I had originally misinterpreted your post.
