Currently PS Express don't have the functionality of deleting a photo. You can delete a photo by using the native iOS Photo app.

If you want to delete photos from your Camera Roll, please do use the iOS Photos.app

HI Penny, Unfortunately at this point we don't have the ability to delete photos from inside the app. In order to delete them, on your home screen you should see a Photos app which gives you access to your albums and camera roll. This app is provided by Apple and gives you the ability to delete any photos that you don't want.

Ian,
I use PS Express to teach Photography in elementary school (140 4th and 5th graders). We are probably like a lot of schools that cannot provide one machine for each student, so six students use the same iPad during the day as classes cycle through the day. Not deleting within PSVExpress really hurts us, because I don't want to figure out who took what, and I don't want students to have access to other students' pictures. I plan to use Guided Access to keep everyone inside the application I am teaching with, so they cannot go out and delete. I can't do the deleting because there is no time between classes, and the machines are put away immediately at the end of the day. So bringing all functions witon Photoshop Express will help me and other teachers.

Hi Jonathan,

Unfortunately there is no method for us to delete photos from the camera roll within the app available on the operating system. We will definitely take a look at this if there is an update with the OS that allows us to delete from the camera roll.
Best,
Ian

I would NOT delete any photos from the photoshop express app on your phone! Let me explain a little. I am fairly new to the system and have the photoshop express app on my android galaxy s10+ and wanted to clean out some pics on the photoshop express app and without knowing I deleted nearly ALL of my photos from my photo album from my phone! Hundreds of pictures just gone from my phone, Including photos that I transferred from old phone when I upgraded to my current Samsung galaxy. I AM DEVISTATED! So I would say absolutely DO NOT DELETE Photos from the photoshop exress app. I contacted Adobe about it and ofcourse no help. I just have no idea what to do about it. And yes I know there should be a place that samsung backs things like this up but for some reason my phone wasn't backing anything up! I literally traumatized. So yeah I dunno about any other devices, but definitely DO NOT delete any photos from the photoshop exress app unless you want lose photos from your device forever. Now I may have to pay hundreds of dollars to try and get back the photos from my phones internal memory.

I just wish Adobe would have helped more but it felt like to me they we're like " oh well sorry" So hundreds of photos from years and years gone. Devastating 😢😥. Thanks Adobe. 😥

In the comments above no one bothered to point out, that PS Express is linked to the Apple iOP system. By selecting images on the iPad 'PHOTOS' and deleting the images - PS express images will also be deleted!
