Photoshop Elements 2019 hangs if pixels put into crop dimensions

The default unit for entering the width and height of an image to be cropped in Photoshop Elements is cms. If you try to change it to px, Photoshop crashes. This didn't happen when I used Photoshop Elements 14. I can't see a way to change the default unit to pixels either. It looks like this is a bug. Can Adobe fix it please?

Enter the unit type (px, in, cm...) together with the value in the W and H boxes, like "1200 px".
Be sure to be coherent between different boxes... In one of my tests to reproduce your issue my PSE editor crashed (report sent).
I don't think anything has changed since PSE14.
I generally prefer to control the process step by step: rectangular tool settings and position, then menu Image >> crop followed by Resize if necessary for in/cm dimensions or resolution.
