Elements: Purchased download version for Windows. Need Mac version.

Hello I have a couple problems. I own mac computers and accidentally purchased the one for windows. Can I get a refund for this? The other thing is that the reason why i was purchasing this item was because the photoshop elements keeps closing everytime i try and open it. even when i reboot my computer, i can't seem to have it start anew.

Hi Olivia. I took care of the exchange and put a new Mac serial under your account ending in "0933"

You can sign in to your account on Adobe.com to retrieve the full serial #: https://accounts.adobe.com/products

Did you purchase it from adobe.com, or in the store?
The retail version of Elements allows you to install it on both OSes.

And we would need the details of the crash to know why it is crashing on launch.

I ordered it from adobe.com, so that's when I realized when I tried to open it that it didn't work on my computer.
As for Photoshop Elements 12 Editor, the warning/caution triangle comes up in the popup window with this message:
Photoshop Elements 12 Editor quit unexpectedly. Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed infomration and send a report to Apple.
I sent a report. The other thing is that the reason why I tried to purchase this again, was that I mainly wanted to update my Photoshop Elements, thought perhaps this was the problem.

We would need the details of the crash report, not just the words of the crash dialog.
On MacOS there are several pages of details for the crash report.
On Windows you would look in the system event viewer or reliability reports for the crash details (not much, but at least names the faulting module).
