Elements: PSE 6 wont install

After replacing my harddrive on my IMac desktop, Photoshop elements will not run. I reinstalled it twice. The error states, "incorrect name, company, or serial number." I verified all names are correct as noted on the adobe website. I unistalled it and tried again. Adobe will not talk to me without a service plan. There is NO WAY I am going to buy another adobe product with this kind of service on products.
