Elements Organiser: face recognition will not start
When I click on the face recognition icon the opening window flashes on then off and does nothing. It's the same if I use the menu option. This is regardless of how many files I have selected.

Spent all afternoon working on the product to try to find a way to sort it out but no joy.
Absolute waste of money.

I also have the same problem: click on the face recognition Button --> a window with progress bar flashes up and disappears with no effect; pressing it again... same story. So basically the automatic analysis is screwed. I cannot mark the faces on the images.
System: PSE11, 12K+ Photos, Win7, 64Bit, Catalog converted from PSE9. Mostly Raw-files (Nikon / NEF).
* Strange thing is that I was able to use the feature some weeks ago.
* I am still able to add faces to previously imported images, but the new ones are breaking PSE's feature.
* I renamed the breeze session file (see thread http://feedback.photoshop.com/photosh...) - no effect, but a new file was not created by PSE either.
* I created a new catalog, imported a few images - no effect (same problem).
* I even turned off quite a bunch of services - no effect.
Please help!

This is the flakiest software I have come across in a long time and I've been an Application Development manager for 30 years!!!!
Pity, would be good if it worked.
