Elements 15: Open Recently Edited File list
I recently upgraded to Elements 15. My OS is Windows 7 Professional.
When I try to use Open Recently Edited File, it shows an old list. This list doesn't update with the most recent files I've edited.

Hi, I have the same problem...
Actually, when the list of recently edited files reaches 100 (which is maximum), it stops updating.
I am using Photoshop Elements (2,8,10,12 and now version 15) nearly 10 years now, but Elements 15 obviously has bugs...

Can you please try resetting preferences once and see if recently used file list starts building properly? It might be getting corrupt past certain counter; need to check that.
Thanks

I reset preferences 3 days ago, but it seems that in average every 5-th edited photo is on the list...
There is no photo on the list from today, so it must have been stopped updating yesterday...

One of the members has a partial fix, namely to occasionally delete the MachinePrefs.psp file.
Is there a way to open an official bug report (or ticket or whatever it is called here)?

Is Adobe responsive to bug reports, by at least acknowledging them? Should I do something else to report this so they know about it??

"I've figured it out:
Open c:\Users\your name\AppData\Roaming\Photoshop Elements\15.0\Editor\*.*
there you will see the file "MachinePrefs.psp" which contains the info about the last opened image files. If the list has reached the number 100 it stops to accept new image numbers.
It should, however, like in previous PSE versions, store the last file number and simply move position 99 to position 100, and so on. This doesn't (yet?) work with PSE15.
Now delete the "MachinePrefs.psp" file and you will have after the next opening of PSE15 again 100 positions available.
Andreas"

"Recently Edited File" list will not update on the File>Open menu of PSE 15.
