Elements 10: Not able to change font size for the main menus
Used PS for years and just upgraded to 10. Very unhappy. need to see the menu in order to be productive. I will not purchase additional add on until this problem is fixed. Otherwise PS is a GREAT product. If the font size can't be changed in these menus then photoshop is no longer customer freindly.

And what exactly are you seeing that prevents you from changing the font size? (which normally changes in the type tool options bar, not from menus)

In Elements 10 ,If you want to change the font size of Type , you can directly from options bar of type tool.
and if you want to change the UI of menu items, there are no options for it.
thanks

I was very disappointed when I tried to read the user interface words I have a 22 inch screen and all I have on the letters at the top is 3mm and no way seen to increase them or choose my own color scheme so that I can read it I am using elements 10 which after using pdf files that are easily increased for readability I can not understand why a photo shop program would not have the ability to do this after reading the posts here I see other programs have been worked on and maybe elements may be fixed some day. The idea of light grey on grey backgrounds ??? If i have my face a foot from the screen I can make then out however it is also close enough for a massive headache. PLEASE Adobe gurus is there something that can be done to fix Elements 10 quickly. Also if you really desire to hear from your customers please make it easier to send an email or make a phone call.
Thank you,
Bill
Ps: Is there now a way to change the UI fonts and color scheme?? It would be very much appreciated.

once you type your text into you photo, highlight the text itself. then, you adjust the font size in the toolbar that runs horizontally above the the photo window. however you can't simply use the drop down menu to adjust the font size. you have to actually but your cursor into the font size box and type in a value to replace the value thats currentlylisted in there. in other words, if the font size says "72 pt," try typing in a larger value like "200." this way, you can make the font size as large as you wish.

Elements: need larger fonts for bad eyesight.
Adobe needs to change the size of menu fonts in Photoshop Elements 9 and many other Adobe programs so they are readable by people with normal vision. This includes people with glasses or contact lenses whose corrected vision is normal. There are hundreds of comments about this issue on your website yet you have taken no action. I am considering lodging a complaint against Adobe with the Australian Human Rights Commission because the very small menu fonts in many Adobe products discriminate against people with normal vision. Meanwhile I shall use Photoshop SLE which I purchased in 1999.

My point is that the menu font size is not suitable for people with normal eyesight which includes people with glasses or contact lenses whose corrected vision is normal.
I made a new topic because this conversation covers font sizes which CAN be adjusted as well as the menu font size which CANNOT be adjusted.
I am so glad I didn't buy a way more expensive version of Photoshop and I certainly won't be doing that until I know for sure that this huge problem has been fixed.

Obviously Adobe does not care. So be it, last $$ I ever spend with you. I'll file a complaint with my local ADA enforcement agency and Microsoft on my way out the door...
