Cant find the options for dodge tool, clone tool etc in photoshop elements 18

Question

Everything was fine until this morning. Now I can't get the options such as brush size, opacity etc for the various tools such as clone and dodge. Like the elements page want to keep on expanding so the options, previously in the bottom left corner are no longer there...

Have you tried the Minimize and Maximize/Restore buttons at the top right?
Also, you could try tapping the Tab key once or twice.
I know this has happened to me before but I have to think further to see if I recall what solved it.

You might try the reset command. It's located on the far-right below the editor space, with a down-menu and it will say "reset all". Open an image to make it show. It resets the tools. Otherwise, you're looking at a uninstall/reinstall session. For that be sure to reboot between those events.

Thanks guys but none of these suggestions worked. The trial version of Elements 2018 is fine so I'll probably buy it at the end of the trial period. Thanks again though...
