Getting "Could not complete your request because of a program error" on anything I do

After installing the beta and trying to create a new project, I got the error message "Could not complete your request because of a program error". I tried closing the program and got the same error message, and had to use the task manager. Reinstalled the program and still have the same problem.

I am also receiving this error.

I'm running an 8GB Microsoft Surface Pro X with the Photoshop Beta program installed. When I attempt to create any new document, I get a dialog saying "Could not complete your request because of a program error."

Doesn't matter the canvas size; always happens.

We discovered an issue with the Open CL/GL Compatibility Pack that Adobe installed as part of the Beta, and will include a different version with the next full release of Photoshop for ARM.

You may be able to grab the latest Compatibility Pack from the Windows store to get back up and running:

1) Launch Microsoft Store App
2) Select: "..." --> "Downloads and updates"
3) Click "Get updates"

The version of this pack that we install is 0.2104.7.0

My Photoshop (BETA) is 22.4.0.

My Compatibility Pack is 1.2140.7.0.

Still running into the same issue so far.

Edit: Going to try downgrading to 22.2.0 to see if that makes a difference.

I was able to get 22.2.0 to create a new canvas.

@mark_dahm Seems that this didn't work for me, I already was on that version of the pack.

Hmmm, thanks for the feedback, @Matt Kenefick and @Jens-Wolfgang Fabian . Does it work if you re-install the 22.4 version after falling back to 22.2?

We're not seeing the program error on new document creation, so wondering what other info might help; maybe send me your Photoshop Help>System info output? You should be able to get that without creating a new document.

Does opening a file also break?
