Notify when sharing an image at 'full-res' if synced file is a Smart Preview

Right now, I can share at 2048px or “Maximum available”. Well, when “maximum available” is only from a Smart Preview and LrM does not tell me that, suddenly I’m sharing images that are not at Full resolution. Can you please (pretty please!) add an option “Maximum resolution” with a little note saying “This option will take longer as the full res raw file must first be downloaded before rendering.” I can live with that. It sure beats unknowingly sending less than full res files. In other words, be more transparent in your dialogues - we can handle it!

You're sure you have the full res in the cloud to begin with, and not smart previews synced from classic?

If the original file is resident on the device then, yes, you get full res shares, but NOT if you have Smart Previews to work from. I’m shooting DSLRs (as well as iPhone) whose original files are not local, only Smart Previews.

You could have full res files if:

1) Imported directly into LR Mobile (after havint imported them using a card reader, for example)
2) Synced down from LR "Cloudy"
3) Synced from another mobile devices on which you had imported full res images (cfr point 1)

You only have smart previews if images are synced from LR Classic

Right. Thanks. Makes sense. I’m so used to working with the “real thing” on my laptop.
