Hi. Why on earth did you remove speed flagging in LR mobile. You have effectively doubled my work time with flagging and this is a HUGE issue. Flagging takes long enough as it is and we finally had a way to make it go quicker, only to have it ripped away. Time is precious and now I find myself spending my valuable family time doing extra flagging just to keep up with what I was once doing. This is so inconvenient and I am insanely disappointed in adobes decision to make my work day more tedious, longer, and harder. Bring back the streamlining and save the little guy some valuable time!!! I don't even want to use LR mobile anymore because it has become such a pain in the ass to function. I would have never updated if I would have known this was going to happen. Can you rate something with negative stars?
Before it was possible to turn on speed review and set flag in the edit mode. This was very efficient. Please bring back the speed review Adobe and help us work smarter/faster.
Yes. The speed review function is still missing. It allowed you to set flags in all modes including Edit. Rate and Review is an entire mode which requires toggling back in forth to set a flag/rating after an edit adjustment, which lacks the whole speed part.
Exactly. This was my most used feature in Lightroom. The whole point of Speed Review is that I didn't have to switch to a new section of the app to quickly flag or reject photos etc. The gesture does not interfere with other functionality so really struggling with why it is taking so long to put back a key feature that was so great before. Please don't underestimate how useful and how frequently used this was.
So true - now the mobile experience has become just as modal as the desktop, which was always a weakness vs something like Aperture (just because Apple abandoned the field doesn't mean every bit of LR was better).
It remains a mystery why Adobe believes this modality is a good experience. The gestures don't conflict with anything other than the Crop mode (also extremely modal, requiring a "Done" button), so why don't the gestures just work everywhere BUT Crop?
Currently, in Rate and Review mode, it requires two thumb gestures, one up/down gesture on the right side to pick/reject the photo, and another somewhere in the bottom middle to move to the next photo. This is inefficient and frustrating because I pick the wrong region of the screen about 15-20% of the time.
I would rather have a visible buttons: pick on the right side, reject on the left, and clear flag in the middle. As soon as I hit the button, it should advance to the next photo. The rating gestures are too unreliable to be useful.
A rapid zoom function would also be nice. If I push and hold a part of the photo with medium pressure on the iPhone, it should magnify to 100% for that section as long as I hold it, to make it easy to rapidly check to see if eyes are in focus.
