Lightroom Mobile: Raw image import on Chrome OS
The latest Chrome OS release (77) now uses the native files window within Android apps. Unfortunately, in Lightroom the file formats are filtered to a range of image formats that don't include .NEF. There is no way to change the possible formats and this means that it is currently not possible to import raw images. I've contacted google support about this but they say the responsibility lies with the app developer. I am using a Google Pixelbook.

I am able to import raw files with no issue and able to import from both SD and CF cards connected via card readers.
Are you still experiencing this issue?

- Create a new album.
- Click on the album to enter it. Your screen should now look like this.

- Click on the blue icon in the bottom right corner. This will bring up these options.

- Click files. The file picker should now appear.

This window is how you access all your files on Chrome OS. As you can see, the available file formats do not include .NEF. There is also no way of allowing all file types. Thanks for your help.

Workaround: If you add from All Photos instead of an album you should be able to access the raw file type. Then you would need to add them to the new album after importing.
