Lightroom Mobile: My camera (DSLR) has a display, but no LR, why?

My computer has a display and LR. My smartphone has a display and LR. My camera (DSLR) has a display, but no LR, why not? That would be very useful.

Because your camera does not have an operating system that can run third party applications. There is nothing Adobe can do about that.

Indeed. You don't go very far with a sceen only :p And not speaking about the processing power needed to run LR. A camera is a highly optimised system but has no "open" OS (excepted for som Andoid cameras).

Yes, and as most DSLR cameras don't have a touch screen, you would have a very difficult time doing anything useful with “Lightroom for DSLR”.
