Lightroom Mobile: iOS: Missing Pictures, Presets, and Watermark Data after 5.4 Update

Yesterday when I use the Lightroom Mobile, it was okay. I still have my presets and pictures saved in the apps but today , 18th August 2020 , after I updated the apps on Apps Store, all of my pictures and presets gone. I really need this to be fix as soon as possible. Please help me as I really need all those pictures and presets.

I have the same problem. All photos gone! I’ve been a subscriber to the Adobe photographers package on my desktop for a number of years. I pay about 15 bucks a month, under sufferance. Using LR and PS on a spanking new ipad 12”. latest os etc etc.. P.S. I have access to PSmobile and LRmobile through my sub. but need to pay another 15 bucks a month to open up all the features in Fresco, that makes no sense at all.

Same issue. My library of photos and presets seem to have reverted back to March or April of this year, if I look at photos.
I have updated my iPhone this weekend, used Lightroom without issue on Monday, and now everything is gone. PLEASE FIX.

Have a CC sub/account and I want to say it syncs with the cloud. But as I am outsite my trial period, I am not sure if I reverted back to the library of photos plus presents from the last moment of said trial period.

This is what I am thinking as well, but I fear for a corruption in the cloud, which would communicate with the restored iPhone in theory and then mess things up again?

Hi Liselotte,
I am using LR Cloud as my main App and all my pictures and presets are still there even I have updated to the buggy version. I have a 1TB subscription (payed Cloud storage) and sync was enabled.
From my point of view I see no corrupt cloud, it is all an issue with the unsynced pictures and presets. 
I am sure Adobe is frantically looking for a fix together with Apple.
The general issue is that there is no local backup functionality in LR Cloud. And Apple has no selective Restore functionality, all you can do is to restore the complete iOS device which is often a real pain and not working in every case. 
Summary: If you have synced all your pictures you should be fine.

If Backup before 3 days exist, adobe twitter support gave me a good trick : we can retrieve our files without restoring all device :

This better work regardless if I installed or uninstalled the app.. we weren’t getting answers so of course most of us are going to try possible methods to fix the situation since we were getting little answers.. Adobe fix this!

There we are, a chap who didn't sync now threatening a Class Action because of his own mistake. No law firm on the planet will even talk to you about this unless you are willing to post a big check for advance legal work, and then will tell you that you have no standing anyway.

I didn’t install the update just making a comment that adobe bears responsibility to they’re customers. I never update immediately always wait to see what bugs come out. Plus I back up to 3 separate storage systems. Been a professional photographer since 1970.

What happened to the Lightroom app??? I have been using the app for nearly 2 years and I went on it today and all of my pics were gone along with presets that I had payed for and took forever to get downloaded on my app! I am very annoyed.

We need a LOT more info if you really want (need) help:

What OS, what version of LR? Do you have a backup? Do all the modules work or are you locked out of just Develop? Did you recently update the app from the CC application?

Wow. I am happy I saw this today mentioned on twitter before opening the app. It has already automatically updated to the affected version and I normally use the app almost every day. This needs to be widely broadcasted because lots and lots of people will lose their cloud libraries. Most people will have their devices set to autoupdate as that is the default.

I used the free account.. however my girlfriend is using a free account and after update everything was good.

For me all presets and photos were gone

Everything of mine is gone too, only the photo I was working on somehow managed to remain. All presets gone as well. I was on iOS 13.6.1 iPhone XS Max.
