Lightroom Mobile: Camera button not showing, camera module will not load

LR mobile v 6.0.0 on iPhone 7, iOS 13.6.1

On the latest release the camera button is simply missing much of the time on the main library screen of LR mobile. The only way I can get to it is from a widget I created. If I open the camera via a widget, then close out of the camera screen the button does not appear in the main LR library screen so there's no way to get back to the camera again. Often I have to close and reload LR mobile several times, or go back to my home screen widget. I've tried restarting the phone and re-installing LR mobile but still get the same behavior.

Please update to 6.0.1.

Does this only happen when you select the LrCamera Photos system album.

Hi, thanks or your reply. Just tested this out, and you're right, it does appear or disappear depending on what's selected on the library panel.

If Lr Camera Photos, Recent Edits, or Deleted is highlighted the camera button does not appear.

If All Photos, Recently Added, or People is highlighted the camera/add Photos button is visible.

Very strange and non-intuitive to me. I will upgrade to see if this fixes it...looks like that update came out less than 24hrs ago.

I updated to 6.0.1 and I am still seeing the same behavior. The camera button does not appear if Lr Camera Photos, Recent Edits, or Deleted is most recently highlighted in the Library window.

Also:

When I am inside the All Photos, LrCamera Photos, or Recently Added views the button does appear at first, but it disappears when I scroll down through my list of photos, and stays hidden until I start to scroll up again.

The camera button does not appear when I am inside the Recent Edits, People, or Deleted views.

Very strange. And this begs the question: why isn't the camera button just on the main menu bar, always accessible?

The recent UI is a pretty poor redesign...I have little use for "Learn" and "Discover" yet they take up half of the main menu bar. LR is supposed to be for taking, editing, and organizing a collection of photos. What is this trying to be, a social media app? :P

@Rikk Any way to get this feedback to the development team? It would be better IMO if the camera was just a more permanent button that is always accessible. Seems a software engineer may have spent a lot of effort to get the button to appear and disappear in this confusing way...when the camera should be more easily accessible all the time.

Thanks for helping troubleshoot this!
