Lightroom mobile: After iPhone upgrade, image previews are black

Question

I just upgraded to iphone 7 plus and restored the new phone from my icloud back up. In my Lightroom mobile app some of the images appear but others are black until I click on them. They stay black even after I've viewed them. None of the videos have synced. Do I need to start over?

That's probably your simplest course of action. I doubt the restore from backup to a new phone is a scenario that's been tested extensively.
