Lightroom for mobile: Regular crashes since since the June 2018 mobile app update (iOS)

Since the update the app regularly stops working and I have to re-load the application. It also happens when I am just browsing through my photos. I have a one year old and fast iPad Pro with large memory and the latest verion of iOS installed. Hope it can be fixed with the next update.
