Lightroom CC for mobile (iOS): Selective edits lag after 1 edit

After doing 1 selective edit, it's impossible to do any more because the brush lags so much.  I'm pretty certain this is a problem on Adobe's end because it goes from no lag at all to very lag after 1 edit, even on iPad Pro.

Dorianha,

What type of files are these? How large (pixel dimension) are the files.
What sliders are you moving in the selective edit?

I apologize for hijacking. It’s been months and I think people might benefit from an answer.

In my case, my primary camera is a Nikon D800 with pixel dimensions of 7,360 × 4,912. It doesn’t seem to matter if I’m working with a .NEF ( Nikon’s RAW file ) or if I convert to .DNG - after a couple of swipes with the healing brush, Lr CC becomes laggy for the rest of the edit of that image. Too many swipes and editing that image becomes impossible.

I recently purchased a 2018 12.9” iPad Pro for the purpose of editing small quantities of images ( 200 ish ) from wherever I happened to be. This is impossible with Lr CC’s current problems.

Hi, I had this too and found a solution. In LR you can select the album in the left pane and choose to download it locally. If you have the setting on to only download smart previews, it doesn't take a lot of space. Works perfect after this, unless you already tried a selective edit on the pic, you will need to re-import it then.Hi, I had this too and found a solution.
