I am sure you add that yourself as custom crop, no?

Perhaps "Custom" is broken? It doesn't do anything for me on iOS, just defaults back to whatever was already selected.

It works as expected, but maybe you don't understand what it is supposed to do. 'Custom' does not create a new preset, but 'releases' any locked setting. Set the crop to 5x4, for example. You can now only change the crop while maintaining this aspect ratio. Tapping on 'Custom' releases the fixed crop ratio, so you can change it to anything you want again.

That’s how I thought Custom was supposed to work (the UI doesn’t indicate a change on tap though) but how does that help me add an exact 2.35:1 custom aspect ratio? I don’t want/need a free “custom” crop 99% of the time... Unless I’m missing something I don’t see any feature to allow this.

I never said it would help you, I just explained how the option works, because you said 'it does nothing'.

There is no option to save custom presets yet in Lightroom Mobile.

Well thanks for the clarification, it does highlight an issue with lack of UI feedback. Yes it technically releases the aspect radio lock but nothing in the UI communicates that's what just happened.

To go back to my original post, there's not even an option to input a custom aspect ratio let alone save one... Thus my ask for a 2.35:1 crop preset to simulate widescreen cinematography.
