Lightroom Desktop: Whitebalance color picker not working after pasting settings

After pasting settings from another photo, then clicking on the white balance color selector, it shows a zoom-in cursor in stead of the white-balance color picker. Clicking zooms in and doesn't select the white balance.

One of many small bugs, quality control seems to have disappeared.

Workaround: click to zoom in, cmd+click to zoom in on a selected area. After that, the cursor resets and you can select the white-balance.

Does it happen after you restart the App?

Restart your computer?

If so, have you reset preferences?

Reset Procedure:

1. Close Lightroom.

2. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom.

3. Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.

4. Close Lightroom.

5. Restart Lightroom.
