Lightroom Desktop: Stacking Before Album and Not in Any Album Shortcut
I am always typing "album:not in any album" one letter at a time because I cannot figure out how to make a button or shortcut to the "pile" of photos I have not yet sorted into their respective albums.
I would love some way of having a button or shortcut to the album:not in any album filter.
Also I'm using Lightroom CC as my document manager because taking quick pictures of documents is just easier than scanning one by one, and I like the visual tools and folder / album organization available in Lightroom.
The issue is that the normal process for me is that I'll have maybe 20 new pictures of documents, for example 10 pages of a tmobile bill, and then 5 pages of a letter from the IRS, and then 5 receipts, so of course I want to stack the tmobile bill, and then drag it to the archive album, and then stack the IRS letter scans, and then add them to Taxes album, etc.
However the way it works now I would have to move every scan separately into each album, and then afterwards visit every album I've added content too, and then stack them, since I am already using the album:not in any album filter. Meaning, once I put them in their album (making stackable groups possible), they disappear from my "pile".
Love to see a way my workflow can improve. There's a big opportunity here for Lightroom to compete with Evernote as a documents / scans destination. I've found only a small portion of my scans/docs need to remain in PDF / OCR format, most of the time I just want to be able to tag them or drop them in an album, and be able to visually take a look back later if / when needed. Loving Lightroom for this but still needs a little improvement to get there.
