Lightroom Desktop: "Set Flagging to Picked" Alert in the way of Culling Photos

Something that has bugged me about Lightroom for quite a while is the small blue alert that pops up whenever you are updating a photo to be picked, unpicked, or adding a star rating. I'm often culling photos very quickly, and many times the alert will be right in the middle of the photos, sometimes making it so I can't proceed until the alert goes away. It slows me down for a seemingly pointless reason and really makes me wish that this alert was in a different spot.

My choice for the alert's position would be in the bottom left corner. It still gives in the information, but doesn't obscure the photo when culling quickly.

Here's a link to a short video showing what I'm talking about: (These images aren't the best example, but I think you can see the issue)

Having the same problem. The popup is useful, but would be nice if it was at the top or the bottom and maybe quite faster to disappear...

Upvoted as well. Frustrating when quickly sorting out the pictures.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Midscreen popup when selecting pictures on iPad.

After I’ve imported a bunch of pictures on my iPad, I’m selecting them by pressing X and P on my keyboard. But, every time I press such a button, a midscreen popup appears telling me which markup I’ve chosen. First, I know this since I pressed the button, but when quickly sorting the photos, the popup stays too long in the middle of the screen and blocking the view of the next photo. Could this popup be moved to the bottom?
