Lightroom Desktop: Please Support H.265 Codec for DJI Videos

Yes, other videos import without issues.

Support for the H.265 codec with DJI videos is on our list but not yet supported. Unfortunately, I don't have an ETA on when the codec will be supported.

Other H.265 videos import fine. Just the ones from my mavic 2 pro done don't

LR on Windows doesn't support HEVC (H.265) video. LR on Mac does support HEVC: HEIC and HEVC media files support in Lightroom and Camera Raw

I have same issue on LR Classic Mac OS X.

I have a similar issue with videos taken with my Huawei P20 Pro. Videos formatted with "H.264" are fine, but videos formatted with "H.265" will not display in Photoshop (or Windows Media Player, for that matter). VLC Media Player can play these files without issue, so it is clearly a codec compatibility problem.

Being able to edit H.265 videos in Photoshop is important for me, so please prioritize a patch for this if possible.

@Rikk Flohr , do you ever plan on responding ?

The DJI Mavic 2 is becoming a significant tool for professional photographers.  While its still images are correctly opened in LR, it is very inconvenient that we can't load the video files from a drone flight alongside the stills.   I do hope Adobe can fix this.

Have you updated to Lightroom Desktop 2.3 yet? Changes were made in the way video is handled in 2.3.
